Commercial Water Softening, Conditioning & Purification Systems

Water conditioning is an essential pretreatment solution for commercial and industrial facilities to prevent damaging scale buildup that interferes with equipment function and efficiencies and can result in costly downtime.

Our Most Popular Commercial Water Softening, Conditioning & Purification Systems

A commercial water conditioning system (also known as a water softening system) is an essential water pretreatment solution for both commercial and industrial facilities. Water conditioning systems remove excess mineral content from a water source.

California’s water is considered very hard with an average of 100-300 PPM, meaning a very high mineral content. These minerals can form a tough-to-remove, chalky deposit called limescale which corrodes metal parts, damages components, and interferes with the functioning and efficiency of industrial equipment. Softened water reduces this damage and can greatly increase the equipment’s efficiency, as well as preventing costly downtime and maintenance.

Our cost-effective, quality water treatment products are custom assembled to your exact specifications. Whether you have a unique water softener or filter design tailored for your company or market, or need an off-the-shelf design, we are able to meet your specifications.

Benefits of Industrial Water Conditioning

Wood Bros. Mineral Tanks

  • Main holding container for non-cartridge based water purification systems.

A mineral tank – also known as a media tank – is the main holding container for non-cartridge based water purification systems. Mineral filters can be used in conjunction with water softeners, iron filters and other types of media. These tanks are offered with various widths of 6” – 36”.

Wood Bros. Carbon Filters

  • Removes certain chemicals, particularly organic chemicals, from water.

A carbon filter with granular activated carbon (GAC) is a proven option to remove certain chemicals, particularly organic chemicals, from water. GAC filters also can be used to remove chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water such as hydrogen sulfide (the familiar ‘rotten eggs’ odor) or chlorine.

Wood Bros. Sediment Filters

  • Reduces turbidity caused by the presence of suspended solids such as silt.

Sediment filtration is an effective method for reducing turbidity in water caused by the presence of suspended solids such as sand, silt, or clay. Sediment filters are also commonly used in combination with other processes such as activated carbon filtration, aeration, ozonation, or chlorination.

Wood Bros. Commercial Water Softener – All-in-one

  • Removes the excess minerals in the water to reduce hard water build-up.

A commercial water softener addresses hard water that can build up on industrial equipment, boilers, and other heating and cooling systems by removing the excess minerals in the water and replacing them with salt. The convenient all-in-one system has an internal brine tank. Up to 32,000 grain capacity.

Wood Bros. Professional Series Water Softeners

  • Uses twin tanks. One tank removes hardness while the other is regenerating.

A commercial use water softener addresses hard water that can build up on industrial equipment, boilers, and other heating and cooling systems by removing the excess minerals in the water and replacing them with salt.

A Professional or Twin Alternating softener unit works by having one tank remove hardness while the other is regenerating. The first tank is full of resin that is saturated in sodium ions. As water is going through the cycle, the resin attracts the calcium and magnesium ions that make the water hard. Up to 480,000 grain capacity.

Wood Bros. Ozone Generators

  • Generates ozone used to eliminate contaminants such as bacteria, viruses and metals.

Ozone water treatment begins with the creation of ozone in an ozone generator. Then ozone is injected into water, and immediately starts oxidizing and eliminating contaminants, such as bacteria, viruses, and metals. Ozone oxidizes the organic material in the membranes of bacteria, viruses, and parasites, destroying them.

Wood Bros. Commercial Reverse Osmosis Systems

  • Removes impurities from a raw water source.

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water filtration solution system that removes impurities from a raw water source. It forces pressured water through a membrane, capturing a concentrate of the impurities that were in the raw water, and leaving you with pure water to use in production. Reverse osmosis systems can reject 99.9% of bacteria, making it highly effective for commercial use. Our systems produce 300 – 40,000 GPD.
