Alcatraz Island Project
Installing pressure washing equipment on Alcatraz Island was a unique and rewarding experience completed for our customer Unify Now, a company that has successfully executed large-scale programs in facilities management, custodial services, community engagement, and more.

Our team deployed two cold-water pressure washers, each rated at 4 GPM and 4,000 PSI, mounted on a towable trailer equipped with a water tank and hose reels. This configuration provided a fully self-contained cleaning system to remove environmental contaminants and maintain Alcatraz Island’s cleanliness for visitors.
We also engineered and implemented a custom wastewater extraction (“honey-sucking”) system designed to extract and properly dispose of portable restroom water, supporting Alcatraz’s environmental sustainability initiatives.
The project required extensive logistical coordination, including transporting the trailer-mounted equipment from the mainland to the island via barge and crane to ensure safe and efficient installation. Since completion, Unify Now has reported significant improvements in cleaning performance and maintenance operations, helping preserve Alcatraz as a world-class tourist destination.
